Tip # 5: Blog Installation

Sure you can be a blogger…anyone can. But that doesn’t mean you are good at it. So even before your readers would boast how incapable your writing talents are, block it. Install an anti-spam software and tools to filter those comments and keep them moderate. Comments may either be positive or negative. Don’t forget to check on your comments, clean out the garbage and accept the good comments, those that add to your community.

Tip # 6: Be Genuine and Real

Keep your posts on target….stay with the general theme of your blog. A fundamental aspect of blogging is the contribution it would make for the media. Personal relations must be established. Maintain a constant conversation. A way to do this is by staying true to your every word. Pinky-swear on it. Nobody would believe a fraud. Create significant value your desire is to create an authority site, something that makes your readers want to keep coming back….and for that you need to give value.

Tip # 7: Respond

Always respond to your comments…try and start a conversation. Don’t let it go unnoticed. If your reader asks you a question, be ready to answer. Silence is not a benefit with this kind of industry. Criticisms almost always come up….they create controversy and controversy can be good, so don’t let that get you upset.

Don’t get depressed if your blog isn’t a big smash hit….remember practice makes perfect, always use what you do as a learning experience. At least you get to satisfy your writing abilities. But if you still lack a reader’s attention, why not advertise your blog? All you need to do is go to other sites and post out a comment on their blogs and at the same time, invite them to visit yours. It’s a give and take process.

I belong to a handful of PLR memberships and to be honest, I forget sometimes for months at a time to download all the material. All except one. Niche Health Products provides 2 custom monthly websites along with another 20 articles each….and one PLR ebook.

All the book and flat images are sized from 500 pixels wide down to 150 pixels wide.

You get a psd and jpg version of each website template so you can edit and slice the template as you wish.

The websites are create in 2 versions. You will get 2 seperate versions of Xsitepro websites ready to load up to your website….and you’ll get 2 versions of a standard html website ready to load to your website.

You’re probably wondering why 2 versions of Xsitepro. Well…..the first version of Xsitepro is a simple version with a .htm extension. Each page has the basic template (graphics) with one article and 3 ads from Google on it…sometimes a clickbank product. It’s designed for the novice and is easy for just about anyone to edit and upload.

The second version of Xsitepro website is a version that comes with some dynamic content. This site has everything the first site does but it will have some rotating snippets of text, which include affiliate links and it will display a rss feed at the bottom of the page with content that is specific to the content of the website. It’s next to impossible to have duplicate content with these sites even if you don’t change a thing….(its always recommended to make some edits to the original text). These pages end in the extension .php

The next 2 versions are for those that use programs like Dreamweaver, NVU, FrontPage or other WYSIWYG type editors.

The third version has pages with the extension of .htm and it has everything that the second XsitePro version has….the one big difference is that it has a .htaccess file. This is a file that allows the pages to end in .htm or .html and still have the fancy rotating content and other dynamically rotated material on the site. Remember, the dynamic material is to help create a degree of uniqueness to your website.

Sometimes your hosting provider has a hard time using the .htaccess file so the pages have to end in .php…..this is the 4th version. It has everything of #3 but the .htaccess file and it is sometimes easier to work with….These pages will end in .php, that would be the only difference you might see between the two sites.

So to recap, when you join NHP, you get 20 PLR articles for each of the 2 monthly subjects. You’ll get 2 websites, sometimes called adsense sites, each with 10 additional PLR articles and you get 2 sets of website templates and 2 additional sets of standard header grahics…plus you get a ebook cover for the one substantial book you recieve each month.

Well, I need to show you the book covers and flat images….this way you’ll get a better idea what’s included….and don’t forget everything can be edited if you have some basic skills. The ebooks are a little tricker and you need photoshop, however, I’ll gladly edit anything for a minor charge.

What is Bum Marketing

Bum marketing — when I first came across the term, I admit I was a little taken aback by it. My investigation into the term Bum Marketing revealed that it was just a type of article marketing, really it was article marketing. Why is it called “bum marketing”? I believe the terminology is used because this kind of article marketing requires very little effort and still has the potential to earn a lot of money over a long period of time.

The way it works starts with picking a keyword that doesn’t have a lot of competition…then you create an article using this keyword…sometimes you place an affiliate link in the body or it goes in the signature file and finally submit it to the various article directories, then watch the traffic roll in.. If your article leads to sales for your affiliate link, you could get a decent commission for it. The great thing is that each time there is a sale, you would be earning something. The best part is you don’t have to be the son of Einstein to do this, anyone can and anyone can make money with this method. Even a bum can make a killing here. I am sure you now understand why the term “bum marketing” is used.

I found a tool called Micro Niche Finder perfect for digging up these keywords!

It does get a little trickier, you will need to figure out what you’re going to sell, and which keywords will bring in the traffic…so, the bum needs a little education. The subject, in this case, will have to be a keyword or keyphrase that does not enjoy too much competitiona. You can find this by running a search for a given keyword and looking at the number of results and ads that are thrown up. The fewer the results and the greater the ads, the more potential your keyword will have. You could use a program like Google Adwords to find the ideal subject for your article.

Although you could create a mediocre article, imagine what will happen if you took the time to create an article that was one of authority and really solved a problem….that means traffic, and the more traffic…the more clicks. Content is the key, that means, say something when you write the article…just don’t babble nonsense. If the reader is impressed by what you say, you will get more clicks. Offer tips, tricks, and insights to the reader. In time you are bound to find a formula that works for you and which will bring heavy traffic to your site. Remember, heavy traffic generally means a rise in sales.

Times have changed, not too long ago you had to manually submit your articles to article directories, now it can be done automatically using different scripts, software and services. Ezinearticles.com is one of the most popular, however, they are king of the hill and spammers are always trying to fool them, I tell you, spammers are going to ruin the world…these guys are the real bums of the world…just looking to make a quick buck….but I digress. Do a google search for article directories and you’ll find a ton, you can even get niche specific. If you’re a little new at this, you might not know that a site called Squidoo can be of big benefit for getting your links clicked because you can post your own articles, not only that but you can create a network of blogs with a platform called wordpress.com.

Once your article has been posted, you will have to wait for the sales to be made. It might happen that other sites syndicate your article (this will happen if your article is of very high quality), and then you will suddenly be seeing an unprecedented rise in the number of sales. Your money-earning potential will rise considerably.

If you are smart in your choice of keyword, and in your choice of words, you could end up making a lot of money. Most importantly is to give Bum Marketing a try, and more important than that….is don’t quit!.
