First I really hate to listen to myself, but after I get by that, I’m always depressed by the quality of audio that I produce in either podcasts or screencasts. I always knew that I really needed to know how to chose the right microphone.

I know the quality of audio can be much better that what I now produce, but I really didn’t know how to go about finding it. Afterall I bought the most expensive headphone and microphone combination I could find. Also, I messed with every audio recording setting I could discover…..kind of like a 5th graded pushing all the buttons on your stero amplifier.

I’ve listened to Mike Stewart the internet audio guy and got some great tips from him, I know he also sells top end equipment needed to get the great professional sounding audio.

Here’s the issue…..I know that if even I, have great equipment my voice will sound 100% better.

Well, I got an email from Mark Monciardini telling me he did a video and blog post on how to get the greatest audio possible along with where to find and how to get all the needed audio equipment.

If you want to have success using pay per click to market your online goods and services, you’ve got to devise an effective pay per click formula. Not every online marketer approaches pay per click in the same way, and each probably has developed their own unique method in order to make pay per click (or “PPC”) work for them. Regardless of your approach, there are several important secrets to pay per click marketing that you should bear in mind when you decide to follow someone else’s plan or to develop your own pay per click formula.

The biggest secret is that conversions (sales) are the most important aspect of your PPC marketing campaign. Everybody loves to get lots and lots of clicks on their PPC ads, but if those clicks aren’t converting into sales, then you’re simply wasting your time and money. That’s why it is critical to test your PPC ads, and full tracking and testing need to be the very foundation of any successful pay per click formula.

So how do you test conversions? One of the simplest ways is to develop numerous PPC ads for each of your online promotions, rather than just one. A good mix might include three or four different ads, all for the same marketing effort. You could use those four different ads in bids on the same keywords, and then have each of those four ads point to a different page on your site. The content on each of the pages should be the same, even though the pages have a different URL. In this way, when developing your pay per click formula, you can decide which of these PPC ads generate the most sales.

For example, if you have four different ads running and each ad sends 500 clicks to your site, you can use your Web tracking logs to determine which of those four ads ended up converting into the most sales. Say that “Ad #1″ sent 500 clicks and from those you made 3 sales, and that “Ad #2″ sent 500 clicks and from those you made 2 sales, and “Ad #3″ sent 500 clicks and those generated 7 sales, while “Ad #4″ logged 500 clicks but only one sale. Your conversion rates for those ads would be 0.6 percent, 0.4 percent, 1.4 percent, and 0.2 percent respectively. Clearly we can see that “Ad #4″ out-performed all of your other ads combined. Therefore, when you put together your own pay per click formula, you should include the advertising ingredient that delivers the most return on investment: in this case, it would be “Ad #4″. Forget the others.

Of course there are other things to consider in developing a successful pay per click formula, such as keyword research and the actual cost-per-click compared to revenue generated by the PPC traffic. But before you start with a wide shotgun approach to launching a PPC campaign, take a step back a moment and develop a plan to test your conversion rates. You’ll quickly find that this is one pay per click formula secret that can mean the difference between success and failure.

December flew by fast and furious….in fact all of 2008 zipped right by, I had so much I wanted to accomplish and couldn’t, mainly do to poor health. Like so many things in life, we don’t appreciate the things we have until they’re gone and I certainly have a new found appreciation for good health since I experienced years of physical suffering.

Internet Marketing Opportunity

I only mention my health because I’m so thankful for the opportunity that we all have when it comes to the opportunity presented by interent marketing. There are so many directions and opportunities one may go in the field of internet marketing. I’ve seen complete newbies jump in head first, hit the ground running and make a pile of money…then go on to be very successful. Contrary to that, I’ve seen people get involved, buy ebooks, courses, software and go to seminars only to struggle year after year…..the ones who stick to it almost always eventually achieve some degree of success. The ones who whine, complain and giveup will proclain that internet marketing is full of scammers and false hope…..why?, because they quit!

The undeniable truth is that internet marketing provides an opportunity for anyone who is willing to learn, invest and stick with it. For me, the last 5 years have been plagued by poor health but I drag myself up to my computer when I’m able, write a blog post, work on an ebook, learn more about building websites, create some graphics, look for more learning opportunities and implement my monetization efforts. Mind you, I can’t work like most people, sometimes I go for a week or more not being able to work. I almost never get 5 days in a row where I have at least 8 hours a day to hit it hard……My point, even though I’m ill, internet marketing has provided an opportunity to work for myself, given me a chance to earn a living and presents income opportuities that have no ceiling.

Now….if I can make this work with my disabilities, then count your blessings if you’ve been blessed with good health and can wake up every day feeling good. Interent Marketing opportunities are unlimited in scoop and income opportunity. You can work at home in your spare time, or you can work from home so you have spare time. I truly am thankful for this opportunity and those that have crossed my path over the years and offered me a hand or extented the courtesy of a free ebook or service here and there…..I practice the art of “passing it on”

Micro Niche Finder Contest

In November I entered a contest that involved creating a screen capture video tutorial on how I use Micro Niche Finder, a keyword tool by James J Jones. I use Micro Niche Finder all the time in so many ways that it was hard to come up with one way that would capture the usefulness of Micro Niche Finder. Well, I did a 20 minute video on how I use Micro Niche Finder to determine whether an affiliate review package sold in the warrior forum would be profitable or not. If it is profitable Micro Niche Finder can then be used to dig up long tailed keywords to create a blog and then write some articles that would further promote the affilaite review site.

Well….I won!

I won 3rd place and a $250 prize! How awesome is that, and I send my heartfelt thanks to the owner of Micro Niche Finder, James J Jones! By the way, James is an awesome internet marketer, comes out with some great products and often times shares some of the techniques and methods he uses to exploit various niches to make some pretty good cash. So…I highly recommend you join his list and follow his teachings.

I might mention that I was able to accomplish this when I had 2 of the worse months of my life. Once again, I only share this to give you encouragement and offer you proof that success in an internet marketing opportunity is not only possible but probable when you stick it out…..So I offer my sincere best wishes for 2009 while you persure your internet marketing dreams!

Do you want to sell online products?  It is actually not all that difficult to get started selling products online.

You don’t even have to create or develop your own product to sell online products.  Affiliate marketing is a strategy where you sell other people’s products.

In affiliate marketing, you are the middleman between a buyer and a seller.  Your job is to pre-sell products and deliver warm buyers to the end seller’s home page.

Pre-selling is an art that not everyone has mastered.  You may be so used to the continual onslaught of advertising that you think that in order to sell online products you have to “sell, sell, sell.”  In fact, you are better off providing a good user experience to your visitors and then making softball recommendations to people who have come to trust you.

For instance, if you want to sell an ebook on planning a wedding on a budget, you could create a blog about your own wedding.  You could talk about the trials and tribulations of mother in law interference, dieting so you can fit into the wedding dress, and how your caterer cancelled at the last minute.

Then, from time to time, you will mention just how much good advice you’re getting from an ebook you bought which has helped you to plan your wedding on a budget.  Include a link to the wedding book with your affiliate code imbedded into it.

Another way to pre-sell to your visitors is to offer a free report in exchange for their email address.  You can put affiliate links for 5 or so products in the report.

But, once you have their email, you can continue to promote products.  There are two ways to do this.  One is to offer a series of emails offering useful advice and have an inconspicuous link to an affiliate product at the end of the email.  The other is to send stand alone advertisements to your list from time to time.  Remember that you can’t just “sell, sell, sell” even in email marketing.  You have to continually deliver good value to the customer.

If you want to sell online products, the opportunities for the type of products available abound.

·    One way to find products is to look at major networks like linkshare, shareasale, and commission junction for physical products and clickbank for digital products.

·    Another strategy is to go to large stores such as Wallmart and Amazon that offer a variety of products to promote and set up an account directly with them.

·    A final strategy is to type in your keyword plus the phrase “affiliate product” into a search engine.  For instance, a search of “Debt Relief” + “Affiliate Program” turns up more than 90,000 results.  Many of these are affiliate programs in the debt relief niche.

Start to sell online products today through affiliate marketing strategies.
