Web 2.0 Headers

First, I have one of the most complicated….yet simple methods of creating header graphics. Web 2.0 Headers comes with a variety of shapes, pattens, colors and everything you need to create professional header graphics. I used it to create the graphics for this months minisites and graphics. You will need to use Photoshop or GIMP to use this. Check out the Web 2.0 Headers and watch the quick video of how this package works.

Gimp Video Tutorials

I added this series of video tutorials since the above uses GIMP. Since a lot of people do not know how to use photoshop nor want to spend the money needed to purchase it, you can download GIMP a free open source image editor that is almost a clone of photoshop. These videos, Master the Gimp, show you how to use all the tools and when your done….you’ll be able to create your own simple header graphics, and other website graphics.

The first 2 versions are for XsitePro users. Version #1 is the simplest and consists of 10 articles. Use this version if you’re new to Xsite

———- Version #2 ———-

Version #2 for the Xsite version consists of webpages that end in .php. This allows us to use things like:

-rss feeds

These features allow your webpages to display random content which helps to have webpages with fresh and changing content…good for the search engines. You can edit the article in Xsite as usual, however, the preview button doesn’t work because of the .php pages.

Versions #3 and #4 for those that don’t have XsitePro. You can use with Dreamweaver, Frontpage, NVU or just use an FTP program like Filezilla to upload ==================================================

———- Version #3 ———-

Use this version if you prefer pages that end in .htm. This version has an .htaccess file so the various features that are php can be viewed with pages ending in .htm, the htacess file is already configured and should work with most hosting providers. (It will not work with Godaddy hosting)

This version has all the features of Version #2 above. The only file you have is “!google_id.htm”, all you must do is replace the publisher id that appears with your own id.

Feel free to edit any of the other files as you need or desire.

———- Version #4 ———-

The only difference between this version and Version #3 is that the pages end in .php, consequently there is no need for the .htaccess file. So if you can’t get #3 to work, this version should work fine.

Once again, the only file you have is “!google_id.htm”, all you must do is replace the publisher id that appears with your own id.

Niche Health Product’s for July

Did you know that each month you get a Free Custom Xsitepro Template. This xsitepro template is also converted into a standard html website template!

Private Label Rights products, otherwise known as PLR, have grown in popularity over the past couple of years. At first there were only a handful of PLR memberships on the world wide web…..now there are 100’s of plr memberships with a variety of benefits. Unfortunately these private label rights memberships have degraded in quality. What I mean is the quality of the content in the majority of PLR memberships is very poor.

Some plr memberships pile on the benefits, only to provide poor quality articles. A common practice in internet marketing circles is to provide a big pile of bonuses. In my opinion, the bonuses provided by these memberships is really an insult to my intelligence….all junk.

One Private Label Rights membership I belong to is called Niche Health Products. The health niche is ripe for the picking. There are many products and services available for affiliate commission when working with the health niche. In fact, there are many high paying e-books available at clickbank that you can promote in the webpages of the Niche Health Products Minisites, or in the NHP plr articles and finally in the Niche Health Product’s PLR ebook.

Each month the Niche Health Product’s features 20 articles, a 10 article website and for one topic a plr ebook. This is done for each of the 2 subjects that are picked for the month. In other words, let’s use July’s NHP plr subjects…you would get a set of articles, a website and plr ebook on the following subjects:

-heart disease
-keeping fit

As with most PLR products you can do just about anything you want with these materials except sell them. Private Label Rights are almost like public domain works, you can create products from the articles, use them for blog posts, rewrite them and submit to directories.

The graphics are created in a very generic way so you don’t have to customize any of the artwork. However, the header graphic is supplied with text and without text so those with the ability can add text to the header graphic. Along with the graphics, each month your Niche Health Product’s membership provides a website that comes in 2 different styles. You’ll get 2 versions of the website that can be edited in Xsitepro and you’ll get 2 Versions of the website that can be edited in any html editor.

The minisites are very unique because they are designed to produce unique content. The websites are bases on 10 plr articles so you can go in and rewrite the articles, or even add more aritcles to them. Each page has a snippet of content that has an affiliate link and the content, about 3 to 5 sentences, is rotated on a 24 hour basis…and the snippet is picked randomly….so each page will have different content.

The minisites will also have other forms of monetization, such as, affiliate links from amazon.com or even ebay.com. Also, each page of the minisite has an rss feed which contributes to the uniqueness of each page.

So…if you were to change the title of each page and change the first sentence of each paragraph….and if you are really ambitious, change the last sentence of each paragraph your website would be very unique without much effort.

If you consider using affiliate sales of either medical or herbal supplements…..or even books and ebooks from Amazon or Clickbank, these sites can be little vending machines. PLR articles can help you make a lot of money if you are using good articles and approaching the process from the right angle.

There are a variety of PLR licenses being sold and promoted. Some let you do anything you want with them, so in essence they are just like public domain works. And then, other plr packages will vary different aspects of the article, book or software. Such as:

selling to others
selling a site once it’s completed…known as site flipping
putting your name on it
claiming authorship
no license to sell to others
…..and on and on

I belong to a handful of PLR memberships and to be honest, I forget sometimes for months at a time to download all the material. All except one. Niche Health Products provides 2 custom monthly websites along with another 20 articles each….and one PLR ebook.

The benefit of Niche Health Products is that you are drilling down deeper into a very wide niche, the wide niche being Health and each month the two subjects will be one aspect of illness or the health industry.

I think it’s been close to 2 years since I joined NHP and must say the articles have been outstanding. In fact I was so impressed that I asked if I could join the team and participate in some way.

I’ve been creating the monthly minisites with custom one off looking websites. I don’t want to blow my own horn but the graphics for the websites are first notch….I spend more time than usual trying to create something that is new and cutting edge.

So I create 2 website templates that correspond to the subjects for that month. I also create a simple square header and footer for each subject in case someone might be looking just for a header graphic. Then I create an ebook which is matched in color and theme for each of the 2 subjects for that month. Along with the ebook, I create a flat image for both themes.

All the book and flat images are sized from 500 pixels wide down to 150 pixels wide.

You get a psd and jpg version of each website template so you can edit and slice the template as you wish.

The websites are create in 2 versions. You will get 2 seperate versions of Xsitepro websites ready to load up to your website….and you’ll get 2 versions of a standard html website ready to load to your website.

You’re probably wondering why 2 versions of Xsitepro. Well…..the first version of Xsitepro is a simple version with a .htm extension. Each page has the basic template (graphics) with one article and 3 ads from Google on it…sometimes a clickbank product. It’s designed for the novice and is easy for just about anyone to edit and upload.

The second version of Xsitepro website is a version that comes with some dynamic content. This site has everything the first site does but it will have some rotating snippets of text, which include affiliate links and it will display a rss feed at the bottom of the page with content that is specific to the content of the website. It’s next to impossible to have duplicate content with these sites even if you don’t change a thing….(its always recommended to make some edits to the original text). These pages end in the extension .php

The next 2 versions are for those that use programs like Dreamweaver, NVU, FrontPage or other WYSIWYG type editors.

The third version has pages with the extension of .htm and it has everything that the second XsitePro version has….the one big difference is that it has a .htaccess file. This is a file that allows the pages to end in .htm or .html and still have the fancy rotating content and other dynamically rotated material on the site. Remember, the dynamic material is to help create a degree of uniqueness to your website.

Sometimes your hosting provider has a hard time using the .htaccess file so the pages have to end in .php…..this is the 4th version. It has everything of #3 but the .htaccess file and it is sometimes easier to work with….These pages will end in .php, that would be the only difference you might see between the two sites.

So to recap, when you join NHP, you get 20 PLR articles for each of the 2 monthly subjects. You’ll get 2 websites, sometimes called adsense sites, each with 10 additional PLR articles and you get 2 sets of website templates and 2 additional sets of standard header grahics…plus you get a ebook cover for the one substantial book you recieve each month.

Well, I need to show you the book covers and flat images….this way you’ll get a better idea what’s included….and don’t forget everything can be edited if you have some basic skills. The ebooks are a little tricker and you need photoshop, however, I’ll gladly edit anything for a minor charge.

This month the subjects are on Diabetes and Repite Care. You can see a screen shot of the graphics about and if you click on the graphic, you’ll go to an actual site.

If you’ve been reading you know that I create the website graphics and minisites for Niche Health Products. This is a PLR site that produces excellent content and is managed by Queen Kymi

Honestly, the health niche is one of the hottest niches around. You can dig deep into the health niche and always find some sort of affiliate program or product to promote.

You get 2 subjects with each month, one of which has a fully written PLR book. So you can promote your book. and or affiliate sites.

The mistakes I see most NHP members doing is not setting up to build lists by collecting email and name with something like Aweber’s Autoresponder.

The month of May covered 2 subjects. They are Metabolism and Celebrity Diets. I create the graphic templates and build a minisite with 10 additional PLR articles. It’s all set, all you have to do is upload and change your affiliate links.

I might mention that I create a variety of versions for each website:

1. A simple html website using Xsitepro
2. A more advanced website using Xistepro and php which allows for
rotating content, rss feeds displayed and amazon link clouds.
3. A standard html website that can be edited in any website editior, I use                                                Dreamweaver
4. A standard php webiste that can be edited in any website editior…again I  use dreamweaver. The last two sites have all the frills and nicely help to create unique content.

I feel so sorry for your son….I’ll keep him in my prayers. Tell him you know someone who can relate to his suffering and pain….don’t know if it would matter to him, but I know people will look at me after all these years and think to themselves…what’s up with this guy…what’s his problem…its all in his head… I hope future medical advances can soon help your boy.

I fell asleep yesterday and then fogot all about your problem….I apologize.

I went to another computer, totally different, with no previous cache. Everything downloaded OK, I unzipped the files without a problem and I imported into Xsite without a problem….I used the #1 download for both categories.

Can you download the file…..

if no, then there could be some security setting in your browser that is creating the problem. But if you can download the other files then it doesn’t make sense. If you’re using Internet Explorer, try using FireFox for your browser…go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and download for free

if yes….then I assume you cannot unzip the file. Make sure the downloaded file ends with the .zip extension. If it isn’t there in full try adding the extension.

What program are you using to unzip your files. If you’re using the build in windows version….go to http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm and download their free unzip program.

Also…I attached both Xsitepro.htm" target="_blank">Xsitepro versions of the minsites to this email.
