Hey Josh….I appreciate your post but think your logic is a bit faulty.

Josh basically said that too many people have fallen for the general consensus that wordpress is the best platform for building websites and selling good and services online, he goes on to say its a matter of what wordpress does…..you can read more about it here.

The water is hot and I burn my hand. However, you say not all water burns your hand. Exactly, only hot water!

Thus you say, Google doesn’t prefer wordpress sites but because wordpress has plugins, rss, pings, blah blah blah…it gets indexed first and quicker! If this is true…isn’t WP better?

So is it a matter of symantics or are you just stating the obvious? The point is, you burn your hand because the water is hot…..or wordpress blogs get indexed quicker and can be construed as being favored by Google simply because they have all these gadgets that attract Google and Google likes. Bottom line, Wordpress blogs are better than static sites!

I think I understand what you’re trying to say and I agree with you. If you take a static site and make it do all the things that a wordpress site does, Google will notice it faster and it will get indexed and ranked quicker.

Personally, I prefer using Dreamweaver to build sites and have been using it for 6 or 7 years. Recently (2+ years ago) I’ve been introduced to Xsitepro. I really didn’t want to have anything to do with Xsitepro, however, I was creating graphics and minisites for a plr membership and they required Xsitepro for the minisite platform. After using it for a year, I began to get attached to it simply because you could make a site get spidered, indexed and in the SERPS within 24 hours, often times sooner.

Like Wordpress, Xsitepro automatically does things to the site structure and pages to create an seo optimized website and webpage. However, you use other features such as create an xml feed (rss feed) sitemaps (standard and xml). I’ve found that doing just these 2 additional things and then submitting the feed to rss directories will get a webpage or site spidered and indexed in Goolge in less than 24 hours.

Yep, an Xsitepro site in the serps in under 24 hours. Often times the same time or less than a wordpress site, if I don’t use my Auto Social Poster plugin, the wordpress site does not get indexed in less than 24 hours.

So….in many words and in many ways I completely agree with you. Wordpress sites don’t experience the quick ratings simply because they are Wordpress sites, but because of all the processes involved when creating wordpress sites. Apply those same processes to any static site and you should experience the same results as any wordpress site!

Web 2.0 Headers

First, I have one of the most complicated….yet simple methods of creating header graphics. Web 2.0 Headers comes with a variety of shapes, pattens, colors and everything you need to create professional header graphics. I used it to create the graphics for this months minisites and graphics. You will need to use Photoshop or GIMP to use this. Gimp Video Tutorials

I added this series of video tutorials since the above uses GIMP. Since a lot of people do not know how to use photoshop nor want to spend the money needed to purchase it, you can download GIMP a free open source image editor that is almost a clone of photoshop. These videos, Master the Gimp, show you how to use all the tools and when your done….you’ll be able to create your own simple header graphics, and other website graphics.

The first 2 versions are for XsitePro users. Version #1 is the simplest and consists of 10 articles. Use this version if you’re new to Xsite

Version #2 for the Xsite version consists of webpages that end in .php. This allows us to use things like:

-rss feeds

These features allow your webpages to display random content which helps to have webpages with fresh and changing content…good for the search engines. You can edit the article in Xsite as usual, however, the preview button doesn’t work because of the .php pages.

Versions #3 and #4 for those that don’t have XsitePro. You can use with Dreamweaver, Frontpage, NVU or just use an FTP program like Filezilla to upload ==================================================

———- Version #3 ———-

Use this version if you prefer pages that end in .htm. This version has an .htaccess file so the various features that are php can be viewed with pages ending in .htm, the htacess file is already configured and should work with most hosting providers. (It will not work with Godaddy hosting)

This version has all the features of Version #2 above. The only file you have is “!google_id.htm”, all you must do is replace the publisher id that appears with your own id.

Feel free to edit any of the other files as you need or desire.

———- Version #4 ———-

The only difference between this version and Version #3 is that the pages end in .php, consequently there is no need for the .htaccess file. So if you can’t get #3 to work, this version should work fine.

Once again, the only file you have is “!google_id.htm”, all you must do is replace the publisher id that appears with your own id.

Niche Health Product’s for July

Did you know that each month you get a Free Custom Xsitepro Template. This xsitepro template is also converted into a standard html website template!

Private Label Rights products, otherwise known as PLR, have grown in popularity over the past couple of years. At first there were only a handful of PLR memberships on the world wide web…..now there are 100’s of plr memberships with a variety of benefits. Unfortunately these private label rights memberships have degraded in quality. What I mean is the quality of the content in the majority of PLR memberships is very poor.

Some plr memberships pile on the benefits, only to provide poor quality articles. A common practice in internet marketing circles is to provide a big pile of bonuses. In my opinion, the bonuses provided by these memberships is really an insult to my intelligence….all junk.

The minisites are very unique because they are designed to produce unique content. The websites are bases on 10 plr articles so you can go in and rewrite the articles, or even add more aritcles to them. Each page has a snippet of content that has an affiliate link and the content, about 3 to 5 sentences, is rotated on a 24 hour basis…and the snippet is picked randomly….so each page will have different content.

The minisites will also have other forms of monetization, such as, affiliate links from amazon.com or even ebay.com. Also, each page of the minisite has an rss feed which contributes to the uniqueness of each page.

So…if you were to change the title of each page and change the first sentence of each paragraph….and if you are really ambitious, change the last sentence of each paragraph your website would be very unique without much effort.
