I’ve been using a new wordpress plugin called wordpress unique or wpUnique for the past couple of months with outstanding results. In fact, this is one case where I’d prefer to be selfish and keep this information to myself….however, the wpUnique has been released to the public and by virtue of the fact that “It Works!” I’m sure everyone will be using it….so, jump to the front of the line and grap a copy of Wordpress Unique today!

Simply said, WpUnique is a wordpress plugin that automatically creates unique content from any blog post you place on your wordpress blog. It amazingly converts a unique version or any PLR article or duplicate content you feed it! However, the article looks exactly the same as the original plr or duplicate content….. the magic happens behind the scenes, in the html coding of the blog!

Seriously, this thing works so good I wish no one else knew about it….it works by using something called “html encoding” and alters the blog post on the html version and makes no change at all to the Visual Version of the blog post. There are other features that allow you to further alter the blog post in an effort to create a more unique blog post and in an effort to monetize the blog post. These are all options that are completely controlled by you!  The entire plugin, all the features,  can be applied to the entire blog or it can be applied to a single post….. giving you the ultimate control of your blog posts.

I think I’ve been using wpUnique for about 2 months…maybe more, and in that time there have been at least 4 updates. These haven’t been cheesey little updates but major upgrades to the plugin. Steve Fullman has gone all out on this baby and has made wpUnique a premiere wordpress plugin, in fact, Steve originally offered Wordpress Unique on the warrior forum in the WSO section. It’s been one of the most successful wso’s that I can remember…..I’m surprised it took him so long to create an affiliate program and offer the plugin to the general market!

Testing Wordpess Unique on Blogs

I’ve been testing wpUnique on 2 well established blogs and 2 brand new blogs. I can get a blog post indexed ….literally in minutes on the established blogs. It doesn’t matter what the article is….it gets indexed. For instance, I get an article a day from one membership. The owner of the membership usually already has the article indexed on his blog in the SERP’s. And sometimes  a couple of days will go by and the article is indexed on another member’s blog. In both cases I search for the “title” of the article in google or the first sentence. Often times there are 5 or more other results in the supplemental results….but as you know they do not show up unless you force them to.

This is the cool part. I’ll copy the article into a blog post exactly the same as it was sent. Next I tick the box for wpUnique to “Uniquify This Post“  That’s the only option I use…there are other options such as:

• Uniquify Comments
• Auto-Spin This Post
• Keywords to Cash Links

I haven’t use any of those other options and then I “publish” the post. I’ll check Google for the “Title” of the article or blog post and voila…..my post is on top of the SERP’s….that’s right….Wordpress Unique altered my post so that in Google’s eyes the post was actually different than the posting’s previously indexed. That is some powerful stuff. Like I said….I wish I was the only one to know about this. I didn’t think the SERP circumstances would last very long, however, all articles and posts have maintained their positions! I almost feel guilty using wpUniqe

In the interest of full disclosure, I need to report that Wordpress Unique did not work the magic as fast on new blogs. As with any new site or new blog, the new blog really needs to be indexed by Google before you’ll start to see your articles in the SERPS. WpUnique still works, it just might take a little longer for the results to show up.

You might be confused and wondering exactly how wordpress unique works. You might think that it changes your plr article or blog post somehow. Maybe you think the wpunique spins new content out of your blog post. Actually, the plugin has grown to include many features since its inception, but the main way it changes the content is by doing something called “html encoding” which changes the html view of the post but not the actual words. I’m not sure how, but to the search engines, the content appears unique enough to be considered different than the original article or blog post.

If you’re like most of us you just need to know THAT WpUnique works….and I attest to the fact that it does!

Wordpress Unique has many other features….I think I’ll discuss those in another post. Suffice it to say, these other features serve to further change your blog post so that it becomes even more unique and thereby overcoming the duplicate content issues. WpUnique also has features that helps you to automatically monetize your blog posts with affiliate links and keywords or keyword phrases.

I have a membership over at Niche Profit Classroom. They have an excellent program for developing various niche topics and monetizing these niches by either your own custom program or another way is through affiliate sales. Anyway, you can grab a membership for a couple of months and learn just about everything you need to learn about niche marketing…..some of the best teaching on niche marketing I’ve seen to date.

I was browsing through the NPC forum and noticed one of the members was wondering if they should list categories on their blog….anyway, I gave him my 2 cents

Duplicate content issues do come up when using categories or archives, however, there are pluins that can help eliminate the dup content issue.

As internet marketers I think we can get too tied up with the issues of duplicate content and we have to first ask ourselves who our customers or visitors are.

Chances are, the people who visit your website have no idea what internet marketing is or what duplicate content is…..they just want a solution to their problem.

They landed on your site.

They are looking for answers.

If you have a site with muliple categories, in my opinion, you really should list them. Have you ever landed on a wordpress blog and had no idea how to get to the next article or find out what else is on the blog?

Having categores listed tends to keep visitors on your site for a longer period of time.

Imagine you had a site on tomatoes, with 4 categories.

-how to grow early producing tomatoes
-starting your plants early
-the best cherry tomatoes
-identifying and killing pests

If the visitor search for “early producing tomatoes” and landed on one of your articles, he would be finished if he didn’t know what was on your site.

However, if you had the categories listed in the sidebar, you have 3 other tomatoe problems he could be interested in. In other words, “Categories” is an additional method of navigation, since most web surfers don’t know the difference, or care whether a site is static or a blog….they just want answers to their questions and categories or bread crumbs is an excellent way to give that visitor an idea of what is one your site.

If you only have 5 or 10 articles, all dealing with the same subject….then it wouldn’t be necessary to include categories.

I’m not sure if they promoted multiple categories with the NPC model, however, adding more content to your site attracts traffic and I would at least try it out on one of your sites.

If you do categories with the NPC theme, somehow it limits the category to pull up 5 articles. It would be nice to know how to remedy this.

Yes, more and more people are making money with blogs and there are so many ways to do it!

1. Market your services in your blog. A lot of people think of blogs as places to vent or shout your opinions to the world. 3. Ask for contributions. Some people are leary about this but if your small-business blog supports some kind of cause or issue, it doesn’t hurt to ask for reader support. And readers who become loyal to your blog are especially willing to make a little contribution. Programs like PayPal make it easy to establish a simple on-site contribution collection button.

4. Help sell other people’s products and/or services. Let your blog be the conduit between readers and online sites offering various goods and services. Just go to ClickBank or Commission Junction and pick out an affiliate product or service to sell – it should be something that goes along with the content of your blog. Or you can create a new blog specifically for the products you decide to promote. If you write articles about certain products that you would recommend, you can get paid a commission when someone takes you up on the offer.

5. Once you’ve got some customers, use your blog to keep them. Using a blog to regularly communicate with existing clients as well as other new readers is a way to fully inform them about everything your business does. Your posts can enlighten your readers about the full scope of your products or services and even inspire the to refer you to others.

6. Keep in mind that good blogs are those that are updated regularly and frequently with original and high-quality content. Give your readers a reason to come back to your blog again and again.

Think about this.  If you tried to learn WordPress landing pages on your own, to make all the correct tweaks and find the right plugins, it might easily take you weeks or even months. Many “all in one” landing page generators also run for $200 to $600.

In reality, anyone can read, study and learn how to create the theme you would need and figure out how to perform the actual split testing. But unless you are a wordpress theme designer, then it would be so much easier to have someone show you how. Otherwise you’ll was days up days trying to get a handle on this.

Thought I’d take a second and let you guys know how Slick Autoposter and Article Stalker is working. The thought of autoposting or autoblogging can seem daunting to many, but in reality all you need is a few good wordpress plugins and you’ll quickly see some results.

First, Slick Autoposter is is a wordpress plugin that will autopost to your wordpress blog a variety of different ways. The reasons people use autoblogging are legion, yet the purist will call it evil while in truth it will save anyone’s butt that has more than one wordpress blog. One of the biggest problems for the blog owner is keeping up with your blog posts. You really need to post at least once a day, otherwise Google will think your blog is irrelevant. When looking at autoposters you want to make sure you can randomize the posting, there are some autoposters that will post plr articles, some do datafeeds, some post rss feeds and some will post entire books. Slickautoposter does this and a whole lot more, I’d like to see you buy it for your own benefit, so go over to the salespage and take a look at all the fuctions. I can see an argument getting started here, sure, if you click on one of my affiliate links then I’ll make a few bucks and that’s a good thing. But, that’s not why I do this, I like to help people who are looking for direction or stumbling along and one way I can do that is to expose them to what works for me and my friends. In the graph below you can see how Slick Autoposter and Article Stalker doubled my traffic in a few short weeks. The best thing is, once I set up a autopost, I’m done and can get to work on something else. The big benefit of Article Stalker is that AS pulls articles with full text of the article and then posts the entire article. Almost all autoposters will only post a portion of the article, which becomes irritating to the reader of the blog post. I was shocked to see how Slick Autoposter using articles from Article Stalker more than doubled the traffic to my blog.

To be fair I must mention that I am also using a wordpress plugin called Auto Social Poster which I have to contribute much of the success to. I’ve been using Auto Social Poster for almost 2 years and although skeptical at first, I’ve been surprised by it’s effectiveness. Often times the guru’s will tell you to buy this and do that while showing you the great results they get. When truthfully, they leave out some of the details. Auto Social Poster is a powerful plugin because it will randomly submit a social bookmark to a social networking site on each post. If I go through the trouble of looking for the proper long tail keywords for a blog post, write the post and then submit it……I’ll find my post on somewhere between page 1 to 5 of Google within an hour. Now if you combine the work of Auto Social Poster with Slick Autoposter and Article Stalker you’ll find the results stunning. You’ll pay anywhere from $300 to $400 dollars for the two plugins and one script, but you can use them on unlimited domains. These are powerful tools and I guarantee they will get you results if you use them properly. In fact, I had to pay for a seminar to find out the Auto Social Poster (ASP) was one guru’s secret weapon.

The reason (ASP) is fairly secret is that people just don’t want to pay for their tools and think they can get results with free tools. You can do a lot with free tools, but real money producing internet marketing tools will get you there before you get frustrated and quit. Let me give you an example. As a carpenter I can build a house with a box of nails, a hammer and hand saw…..it will take a long time! If you give me an air nailer, electric saw that same house can be framed in a couple of weeks. The same goes for making money online. Invest in some real tools and see if you don’t get some real results!

My Traffic Doubled By Using Slick Autoposter and Article Stalker

As with any tool, don’t abuse these tools or you’ll risk getting your blog delisted. I can’t say that for sure, but only assume. In other words, you wouldn’t want to set Slick to start posting 5 articles a day, every day for the next 6 months. That would surely get Google alarmed. I always experiment with anything that is automated to see how its going to work and then  I install the scipt or plugin on my primary blogs.

It is true Wordpress marketing is one of the most powerful marketing tools available on the internet today, but it can be abused. What is even better, is against popular belief, Wordpress can be used for more than just blogging. You can even create your own website through Wordpress. When you are using your Wordpress Marketing software, however, there are a few security measures that you should be aware of or you can risk being deleted from the Google search engine. When your wordpress site gets hacked, trust me, you’ll feel violated …..so do something now to enhance the security of your wordpress blog.

1. Plugins:

You need to be sure that you check all plugins before you add them to your site.  A lot of the third party plugins sometimes are created by untrustworthy people. They create them in an effort to steal your blog or site.  Some of these plugins have also already been banned from Goggle, for your protection and if Google sees that you are using them they will delete your site from their search engine as well.

2. Recent Version:
Make sure that you are using a recent version of Wordpress. This is due to the fact that every software has bugs or errors that are corrected each time a new version is released.  When you use the latest version of Wordpress you are avoiding these issues. You need to understand though that even the most recent versions can have errors; so you need to be careful. A good practice to get into is before you download the most recent version do some research. Look for possible problems that others have encountered.  If there seems to be a lot of problems do not download it till they have the issues resolved.

3. Admin Account:
All hackers know that Wordpress has a user admin feature.  This feature will allow you to do just about any administrative job available on the Wordpress software.  You can slow these would be hackers down by removing your admin feature.  Instead create a Wordpress admin privileges by using the administration feature.  After you have done this then you will need to log out of Wordpress and log back in.  Then you should delete the admin user. The new admin user should be different from your original one.

4. Password Protect:
You need to be sure that you password protect your Wordpress software the minute you install it.  This will give you an extra layer of protection against would be hackers. Please note though if you have a weak password the hackers can still break through so come up with one that contains a combination of both numbers and letters. The harder you make the password, the less chance the hacker has of gaining access to your Wordpress site.

5. Rename Your Database Tables:
Hackers who attack your site will need access to the database table names. The Wordpress Marketing software allows you to change your table names in order to prevent these would be hackers from attacking your tables.

These are just a few of the security measures, which you can use to prevent your Wordpress from getting banned from Google; when you are hacked.  There are many others available and you can find them by typing in security for Wordpress into any search engine. Practicing these steps now can save you a lot of trouble and money later.
