You Tube Affiliate-Suggestions On How To Use You Tube

how to expand youtube video to full screenMany affiliate marketers (those that make a commission when the traffic that they send to a vendors website actually make a purchase) know the importance of getting the most out of every element they can find to drive traffic online. Using you tube affiliate marketing techniques to use the power of video to get more traffic to every one of your offers can be a surprisingly effective method… and it’s free to use.

Most people agree that the average internet surfer has a short attention span. Couple that with the fact that many people don’t want to take the time to read a lot of stuff and the power of video marketing can really take on a life of it’s own. That’s where you tube affiliate marketing comes in, instead of fighting the reluctance people have to reading, go with it and give them a video to watch instead.

“You Tube Affiliate”

You can easily create a simple, short, video that will help your visitors accomplish some sort of goal. When you use these videos for marketing one of the best methods to use is the “how to” video format.

If you are selling products in the bird watching niche, for example, you can put up a short video that will explain the best pieces of equipment to use to go bird watching. You may explain what times of the day or where the best places to go are, etc. Just offer your visitors some sort of helpful information so they will benefit from your video.

In most cases a “sales pitch” type of video won’t do you much good. Most people will get turned off and stop listening. It’s always best to give before you get. Give them something of value for them, let them get to know you let them learn to trust you and see you as an expert. Then you can ask them for the sale.

Another effective technique for video is doing a review style video. Pick a product related to your niche and do an honest review of it. Make sure it is honest and to prove that it’s honest you should include some “cons” about the product. Even if you thought the product was the best thing on the planet, it will sound phony and like a sales pitch if you make it sound too perfect.

When you upload your video to Youtube you can include keywords that are related to your niche. That way when someone does a search for those keywords they will see your video. You can also include a link in the video to your main website. That is where the driving traffic to your site comes in to play.

Combining you tube affiliate techniques to all of your other traffic generation methods can really help you ramp up your website traffic. Your videos don’t need to be movie quality, they just need to look clear and you need to sound clear. Keep them short, keep your hemming and hawing to a minimum and optimize them with keywords to get the most out of this method.

Link Building Blog

How to Obtain a Link building Blog?

Chain Links

Do you have a link building blog? If not, this is a good time to start putting together a strategy that will get you consistent incoming links to your blog. Incoming links and internal links are extremely important when it comes to getting your site ranked highly in the search engines so it’s something that you’re going to have to dedicate some time (and possibly money) towards.

Just as the links of a chain connect one point to another, webpage links connect your website or blog to the world. The more links you have ….the more important your blog appears to search engines such as Google. Consequently, many seo experts spend a good amount of time increasing the links to a website in an effort to make it look attractive to Big G ….hoping to bring in a flood of traffic.

There are many ways to get incoming links to your blog. I will mention some of the most important in this article.

Trading blogrolls (lists of links on your blog that lead to other blogs) is one method that people use to get others to link to their site. It’s sort of a “you-scratch-my-back-I’ll-scratch-yours” concept. There are mixed fellings on using this for a couple of reasons. some people use the blogroll to link to other sites that they feel are valuable for their visitors. Others mainly use them just to include the link and then to have their link on the other person’s blog. This has the potential to become a political nightmare. You need to keep track of who you are allowing in your blogroll and if their blogs maintain a professional and informative status. If you drop anyone from your blogroll, you can rile some people up. On the other hand, you can gain many links fairly quickly with this strategy. It might be something worth trying out in your earlier blog days and then you can decide later on if it’s working for you.

Participating in forums is a great way to get people to link to you. Just include your url in your signature when you make a comment or ask a question. Similarly, using your url in your email strategy can increase exposure to your site and increased exposure means increased potential for a link building blog.

Submitting articles is a sure-fire tried and true method for getting lots of links to your blog. But this one does take time. If you are an average (or better than average) writer and you have the time to dedicate to writing articles consistently and submitting them consistently, this is a great way to gain status and links. Here you just have to make sure that you don’t submit duplicate content. Many article directories can help you change various phrases within your content so that you can submit many different articles with different keywords instead of just the one original article that you’ve created.

A similar sort of concept involves you writing as a guest on other blogs. Just sign-up as a guest blogger for a professional, authoritative blog and you will see more and more people linking back to your blog.

Publishing videos on YouTube and then linking them back to your blog in your video description is a great way to get more traffic and more incoming links to your blog. Plus, it puts a little fun as go down the road towards obtaining a link building blog! There’s a tremendous opportunity in this field for creating a full time income by submitting videos to video sites. The best part of this business is that it is automated….. Traffic Geyser sets has a Business in a Box type of training that will teach you how to develop a six figure income online by simply submitting videos for backlinks by turning you into your own online business!

Discover A YouTube Alternative For Your Video Marketing

If you’re in search of a YouTube alternative to use for your video marketing, you won’t have to look very far. Although YouTube is by far the most famous, there are many other video social networking sites that you can take advantage of when doing your video marketing.

Here are just a few of them:

Brightcove allows you to create and launch your own internet TV station. It’s quick and easy to get your channel up and running. You can also incorporate videos uploaded by other users into your shows. Your channel is syndicated with other major players on the net and you can earn revenue through advertising as well as video sales. The interface is also extremely impressive.

FlickLife counts among the small handful of revenue sharing hosts that are out there. This is something you definitely want to look into because you can broadcast your own videos to the world at no cost at all and actually get some money in return.

Go Fish is a fairly large YouTube alternative hosting site which helps you promote your leadership skills. The primary goal of this site is to give you your 15 minutes of fame, so to speak. You can post pretty much whatever you want here: business tips, documentaries, comedies, spoofs, pranks, and even episodic dramas – all are welcome here. If you’re seeking a wide exposure for your business, this site offers a great opportunity.

ClipShack is, in a nutshell, a community for the video-addicted – a place for sharing your videos with the world. Its run by Reality Digital, Inc. – a company with years of experience in catering to the multimedia needs of the corporate sector.

Blip.TV brings you the kind of stuff you might be able to find somewhere on television but most likely won’t. This site is very highly rated by PC World and Business 2.0 magazine. It syndicates its content with the likes of AOL Video, Yahoo! Video, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, MSN Video, Google Video etc., which allows you to reach millions of people in one shot. If you’ve got what it takes to create a great show, it may even get broadcast on this TV channel that blip.tv owns. And if your show’s a hit, they allow you to pick your own advertisers and earn revenue. Flash, QuickTime, DivX, 3gp – more or less all major formats are supported.

Revver is especially interesting because it boasts a clever mechanism that helps it track and monetize the uploaded videos as they spread virally across the internet – so “no matter where your creativity travels, you benefit“. Your uploaded video is paired up with a targeted advertisement and the revenue is split 50/50 with you. Those who share and spread the videos get to keep 20% of the revenues as well. The Revver API lets you build a video-sharing site complete with user accounts, uploading, sharing tools and access to the full Revver library of videos. The bandwidth is covered by Revver and the ad revenue is split three ways: you, Revver and the content creator. This is a great YouTube alternative to take a look at.

Explore the sites carefully and use them as a great source of traffic. There are also a handful of wordpress plugins that will use these sites to build video websites by autoposting!

Web 2.0 Basics Page 6

As a benefit, these sites may include more information than traditional strict “book” type or “knowledge based” learning centers. Most of these sites work on the premise that communities will band together to provide honest and positive information, rather than work in a malicious or malevolent way.

Wikis are less of a tool for self-promotion than some other common Web 2.0 interfaces like social bookmarking sites and blogs. There primary foundation is a content based site and community of people gathered together to learn and grow. Many are globally based.

To find information in a wiki, one can often rely on an internal search engine that will look for data using key search terms, much like one might look for information on Google or any other mainstream Web application.

Other Applications

Of course, there are many other types of Web applications that quality as Web 2.0 interfaces or platforms for users. Consider for example, YouTube, which allows users from all walks of life to create streamlined video clips to the world at large.

Once again, this site is one that commoners and celebutants alike have attached to. Users can post any type of video clip they like using a simple web cam. Many provide parodies of political figures and celebrities, while others do nothing more than film ordinary events. Not surprisingly however, YouTube and sites like it are among the fastest growing on the Web, because face it… people like to see other people in action.

What We Learned

There are many types of sites one can categorize as part of the growing Web 2.0 base. These sites are user-friendly sites that promote socialization, collaboration and community building. These sites are also frequently used as a platform for small businesses and entrepreneurs to introduce their products and services to the public without blatantly advertising them.

Many Web 2.0 sites, including social bookmarking sites, have existed for centuries. They are only now gaining popularity as people begin to realize the potential for boosting business and page ranks. These sties are also idea for individuals that just want an opportunity to communicate with a global community. Of critical importance in the future will be finding ways to help keep these sites “spam” free and user friendly. As with any technology, Web 2.0 has its criticisms, including the likelihood that the sites will become corrupted by malicious individuals whose sole purpose for posting is “spamming.”

Now that you have a better handle on what Web 2.0 is and how people use it, let’s review some frequently asked questions.

Web 2.0 Frequently Asked Questions

Now that you know a little more about Web 2.0 and how you can benefit, let’s explore some less commonly understood questions surrounding this incredible technology.

A. Semantic technologies often promote Web 2.0 sites. The Semantic Web enables users to create files explaining relationships between data sets. Illness and Keeping up with Your Blog

I apologize for not writing for a couple of days. I haven’t really mentioned it, but I suffer from a combination of maladies that sometimes puts me in bed for days or even weeks. This has been going on for years and getting progressively worse…doctors don’t seem to have any answers. It’s the one part of my life that I really hate because it becomes very difficult to keep schedules, follow up on phone calls or emails….keep blogs updated.

Perhaps the most distressing aspect is planning for the future. I never know what the next day or week will bring so I can’t follow up on plans. I’ve let down a lot of people in the past years. I hate doing that!

I have a type A personality and when I was healthy I would work 10, 12, 14 or even 16 hours a day….even more.

Since being sick, I’m lucky to average 20 or 30 hours a week….and as I mentioned, some weeks I don’t do anything.

This past week was a terrible week, a change in medications keep me unbelievably sick for the whole week. I still feel like crap….can’t think and I’m sick about the people I wasn’t able to follow up with. I really hate to let people down…..doesn’t matter if they are paying customers or some newbie looking for a helping hand.

I could be bitter and angry….but I carry on….my Faith is a big part of my life and it gives me hope and the strenght to carry on.

map_1873.gifYet all things considered…..I am thankful for the opportunity to constantly learn and practice the fine art of internet marketing. I can always pick up where I left off. There are many who have extended a hand to help me when at times I needed it…..especially some of the people for the warrior forum. I owe Kim Standerline my deep and sincere appreciation and “thanks” for keeping me on as her Graphics designer and minisite creator for Niche Health Products. A new friend Dylan Jones has extended a gracious hand….as many others that I shall keep private.

The amazing thing is…….since I’ve been online for quite a while, even when sick as a dog and I can’t even sit upright in a chair in front of my computer…..I still have occaisional sales. I don’t make tons of sales or cash from these sales but it’s enough to keep me motivated to search for the continual holy grail of internet marketing.

Anyway, I wanted to say thank you to my customers…those who purchase products….those who pay for custom templates and graphics and those who have crossed my path for some reason or another.

Internet Marketing is truly a place where friends are made and friendships developed. Many people are hurting these days and all I can say is……keep on keeping on. That might sound a bit trite, however, there is wisdom….as old as the hills in those words. Just don’t quit. Do something for someone else….doesn’t matter how poor or how little you know….extend yourself in a moment of graciousness.

Anyway…..I wanted to let you know I grabbed 2 wordpress plugins from Neil Harvey that will help automate some of my blogs. I work in many niches…..just like many of you and trying to keep up when you’re in my situation can cause big problems.

I started this blog not really knowing anything about blogging and it’s become a labor of love. I’ve done everything wrong that can be done wrong…..yet I enjoy providing material others can use that they might be able to profit from….so I keep on. That being said, I would never do anything to automate posts with rehashed plr articles or snagging articles from ezinearitcles.com….but a video or two might be to my advantage…….simply because I need to fill in the blanks when I’m not feeling well.

So…I grabbed to wordpress plugins that will be able to automate some of my posts. I’ll only use them on this blog to fill in the blanks. Other blogs I might use them to bring in a constant source of relevant content.

That’s the keyword, “relevant content”…..if a plugin can’t bring in relevant content then it is worthless.

So I looked at a couple of plugins by Neil Harvey for pulling in relevant content:

  1. WP Answers
  2. WP VideoTube

WP Answers allows you to grab specific content on a per keyword basis from Yahoo Answers. You can post by the hour or by the day and posts can be humanized….or randomized. I can’t tell you exactly how well it’s going to work, but from the customer comments….it looks good. I’m plan on implementing the plugin this week and will soon write about its usefullness for adding relevant content to your blogs.

The other plugin is called WP VideoTube. At first I thought it was the just another plugin to pull in youtube videos to a blog. I was wrong, it has a variety of controls that allows you to specific things like keywords, categories and posting scedule. It looks pretty promising and as above I plan on using it on a couple of my other than internet marketing blogs for pulling in some relevant content. I’ll post in the next week or two to let you know whether it’s worth the investment.

If you’ve read this far….I wish you much success :)

Download Any Youtube Video in 3 Simple Steps

It wasn’t too long ago that your had to purchase video CDs if you wished to view one of your favorite videos or the other option would be to rent the video from a video store like Blockbuster if you needed a video to watch for the night. DVD, CD and Movie Rental Centers have experienced a paradigm shift in the way movies are distributed much the same as old mechanical watches met their doom to the electronic time piece, all simply due to technological changes. Ever since Youtube has come to life people have even drastically slowed down in the purchasing of pirated CD’s….not to mention DVD’s off the store shelf.

Free Book: How to Succeed With Video Blogging…..Learn all that’s Needed for a flood of website traffic!

You might be tempted to reason that this popularity of Youtube is simply because of the convenience and comfort of viewing your movie from home, but that’s not really true. While it’s correct that Youtube will allow you to check out your favorite videos at home, there are more reasons that has caused Youtube to skyrocket in popularity. The obvious reason….Youtube won’t cost you a penny. The scope of available titles is immense, you can watch the latest release or one of the old black and white movies….again, it won’t cost you a penny! The free cost of Youtube must undoubtedly be one of the most important factors to the global success of Youtube.

Reason number 2 for the unbelievable success of youtube is simply the incredible size and diversity of it’s collection of videos. As mentioned above, it doesn’t matter if you want to watch an old silent movie or the latest thriller….you can dig it up on Youtube. Finding your desired movie is as simply as entering a keyword related to your movie and click on the search button and almost like magic…the video pops up in front of you.

You might not know this but Youtube is really awesome because they allow you to download any movie of your choice. Maybe you want to start a collection of favorite movies or movie clips then Youtube is perfect for your needs. I don’t think Youtube would have succeeded to the degree that it has if they had not implemented the download feature.

You probably already know that there are many online video sites that permit you to view a video from their gigantic collections of videos and movie, but they haven’t had the success of Youtube. Probably the biggest reason they haven’t caught up to Youtube is that they will not allow you to download the movie, which for you limits you because you can’t add the movie to your favorite collections….also, you cant pause when watching the video for any length of time. They create these limits by buffering the downloaded video, and once the buffering is finished there is no way to save the buffered video you just watched.

Youtube has really rocketed in popularity because they allow you to upload your own videos to Youtube, which the world can then watch…..there are many implications from this one feature alone that can make you famous and even help you make a little extra….or maybe a lot of extra money!

Maybe you aren’t very familiar with Youtube and you might be wondering exactly how to download videos from the site, so….let me show you an easy way in 3 simple steps that will allow you to download all the videos you want from Youtube:

You won’t believe how simple this is!

1. Go and grab a free software application which is the Youtube Downloader Software and you can find it at Youtube Downloader

2. Now simply enter the url of the video you wish to download.

3. When it comes to saving the file, you must save it in the .flv format.

That’s it…now have some fun :)
