February 22, 2006 Success Solutions for Online MarketersI have a couple of resources I wanted to share with you and they're FREE. It seems when sending emails if there is anything that hints of being free, such as f^ree f***e and so on gets caught up in the spam filters and devastates my delivery rate. I thought this info is important enough that I wanted to try and reach as many people as possible, thus the reason why I put together this html format. Where's My Market?Like many of the people on my list, I've been trying to figure exactly what I want to do for an online business. It seems as though some people can jump in, develop a product and bam....their business is started. Others like me poke around, spend a great deal of time learning trying to figure out exactly what direction you want to go. Learning the basics is important.Having a good foundation under your belt will allow you to branch off in just about any direction. Maybe you know from the start exactly what you want to do...you just don't know how to do it. From my point of view, you need two key ingredients, Passion and Knowledge. As you start to dive into the workings of interent marketing sooner or latter you'll know enough to talk about the subject intelligently. Keep surfing, keep studying and sooner or latter you'll begin to see your passion. Do you want to know the easiest way to study and learn "internet marketing"? Best Way to Study Internet MarketingPick out one aspect of internet marketing, how about "affiliate marketing". Now study and learn everything you can about affiliate marketing. Next, take one aspect of affiliate marketing, how about "affiliate links", study and learn everything you can about affiliate links. Once you think you have a handle on it, try teaching it to others. The process of teaching will help organize your thoughts into a coherent form, easily teachable to someone else. Now, write a short article, 500-800 words, about "affiliate links" and submit the article to some of the article directories and make sure you include a link or two back to your site. Writing the article will be a further confirmation to yourself that you have a good understanding of the subject matter in question. If you follow that process for each individual aspect of internet marketing you'll begin to have a knowledge and understanding of the subject that will be second to none. It's shameful that we have such short attention spans (I include myself), and I'll probably loose all but the most astute of you. But this is important. "Internet Marketing" is a niche, and we've been force fed "niche marketing" for the last couple of years. There's even a membership called Nicheology. "Internet marketing" is one of the most competitive markets around, very tough to be successful in and very tough to break into. So then....why should you study internet marketing? Beyond Internet MarketingThe reason is to take everything you learn about marketing on the internet and apply those techniques to any market, whether it be online or offline. The foundation of internet marketing will teach you everything you need to know to become successful in any market. So spend the next couple of years (or whatever it takes) learn the basics and advanced techniques of internet marketing and apply those techniques and you'll succeed in any niche (market) you decide to exploit. PLR and Reprint ArticlesAs I meander through the latest and greatest the internet has to offer I repeatedly come back to the maxim that "Content is King". Reduced to the simplest terms, people search for information, if the information on your site sucks.....guess what type of traffic you're gonna have? The more original, unique and valuable the content is on your website, the more traffic you'll get. The more traffic....then the more income. The advent and use of public domain, reprint articles and private label right (PLR) articles has come to the rescue. I've been spending the last 6 to 8 months learning all I can about aritcles.
As with any aspect of internet marketing, when something becomes popular the market becomes flooded with a variety of different products, sometimes the quality increases and sometimes you'll simply find cheap imitations. My plan has been to create a series of niche related minisites, mainly through the use of "private label rights" articles and "reprint rights" articles. The mini-sites will be created with standard webpages and blogs. In case you're brand new to the article game and don't know the difference between the two, allow me to fill you in! "Private Label Rights" known as PLR articles can be purchased from a variety on online memberships and one time special sale offers. Up until now, I have used about 4 programs to process my PLR articles in an effort to make them more unique than anyone elses.
