Lessons, Tips and Tricks
I decided to assemble a variety of webmaster lessons that I've found helpful. You'll find the lessons at the bottom of this page. First a little computer history! I've been working with computers since the days of the Radio Shack TRS-80, affectionately known as "The Trash 80". I used it for basic word processing, and ultimately had about 4 of them and ran a very large construction company. The IBM "clone" soon rose to the top and I had to have one or two. After borrowing $40,000 I ended up with (3) 236 Compaq's, a couple of dot matrix printers and one of the first laser printers. I also ended up with a handful of software to run my business. Obviously I laugh now, however, at the time I was way ahead of my competition and the benefits of computerizing my business were obvious. A whole new world opened up for me when I took a look at Internet Marketing back in 2003, my only regret....I wish I would have opened the door much earlier. However, those who entered the field in the early 90's have paved the way. Our advantage now is in the experience of those founders.
