The more I look at the GeneratePress WordPress Theme the more I like it!

It looks like you can do just about anything with this theme and with a GPL license you can make niche related themes and sell or include them in a marketing package.

Furthermore what I’m really impressed with is the FREE GeneratePress version. It’s a very powerful theme and for most cases you can probably get by just using the free version of GeneratePress.

This is a GeneratePress WordPress theme review which I’m now using on my blogs. I was using the Atahualpa theme but they haven’t updated to a responsive theme yet, so I had to look for a new theme.

I decided on the GeneratePress theme for this blog is and I absolutely love it! It’s a free theme which you can install right from your WordPress dashboard. It’s also easy to customize without knowing any html or css.

The GeneratePress people have made this theme available for free, but you can buy some add-ons for just a few dollars that make it even more customizable.

For example, I bought one add-on that allows me to disable certain elements inside the theme so I can create my own landing pages without having to use the WordPress Editor and mess with the style sheet.

The layout options are fantastic. You can set it up with left or right sidebars, two sidebars on one side, or no sidebars at all.

You also have up to five footer widgets that you can set up too. This is great for banner ads or special callouts you might want to use on your blog.

I really love this theme because it’s a lot easier to use and customize than the Atahualpa theme I was using. Plus, it’s lightweight and responsive and my site loads a lot faster now too.

This theme worked great for two of my other blogs too, and I’ll be using it to update one of my husband’s blogs.

I think you’ll really like what you can do with this theme and if you really want to customize this theme try GeneratePress Premium, you get all the add-ons, lifetime license, 1 year of priority support, unlimited number of sites you can use it on and a 30 day time period to try it out!

I’ve used a lot of wordpress themes over the years and this one is definitely a keeper. It can become confusing trying a new theme a week or buying multiple memberships only to never use a single theme….I’ve been there. Simple is better and I could almost say, depending on what you are doing or designing this is one theme to use till the end of days 🙂
