Here’s my testimonial for vooplayer, I thought I should do a VooPlayer Review since I have owned it from the beginning, that would be 2012!
Another weekend is about to pass and my issues with vooplayer are still not corrected or dealt with, it is not working for me
Vooplayer Review of this video player has some of the most awesome features, a marketer’s dream. And up until this version it was very affordable. Now, its 200 bucks a year. If you use it and all the features work for you then its a deal, otherwise there are plenty of simple players out there.
My honest review of Vooplayer is that I would not recommend this product for the simple reason that the simplest of features do not work.
I’ve been trying to get the wordpress plugin to work for almost 3 weeks now, support is slow…..takes 3 days or more. If you’re stuck over the weekend, then you have to wait until Monday, and then it will take 2 to 3 days to get a response. Never have I been so disappointed in a video player that I decided to do this review of vooplayer.
The support team only reads part of your support issue, like most support operations. So, you have to send your request multiple times or just dumb it down so they can understand.

Wordpress Plugin Does Not Work
So, the wordpress plugin does not work. Support tells me it works, they say they can log in but I cannot log in to my new enterprise account, only the older account. They do not acknowlege this fact and simply ignore me. I’ve been online since the late 90’s so I’m not an idiot when it comes to installing a plugin or accessing a software.
The redirect only works at the end of a full video.
If you want a custom start and stop time, you cannot use the redirect feature. It will crash your browswer and the browser of your visitors.
I cannot log into my “enterprise” version through the plugin. I’ve made videos to show support, I’ve tried different browsers and different computers. These features do not work.
The “enterprise version” has some great marketing features but to be honest I haven’t tried them, if the wordpress plugin doesn’t work, and if I try to use the iframe code and the custom start/stop/redirect doesn’t work ….then I have little hope for the other features. Very unfortunate.
Here’s the big issue. Once you start using a video player that is hosted in the cloud, you are stuck using this player and service until Jesus comes back or you become fertilizer. And if you pass on, don’t expect your videos to play because you are at the mercy of Vooplayer and the yearly fee. If you don’t make the yearly fee …..you lose all your videos! That’s the problem with cloud applications, you lose control of the software …stop paying and your videos stop playing.
So, if you’re looking for a good video player, skip this one! Wish I would have tried it earlier but I’ve been deathly ill, if I tried it when I got it I would have asked for my money back. I’m not sure how much I have spent on vooplayer over the years. I purchased it at least 3, maybe 4 times with all the upsells. You would think they would take care of a good customer like me.

I wonder if the owners know of my problems and their inebt support department.
When I first contacted their support I was a moron. Said some things I normally don’t say …..I was a jerk. So maybe the poor support is payback. I wish I could take back my approach….but its like texting a message….once you send, its out there. That’s why I always type my email in notepad or some other editor and let it sit for a day. I’m sure these guys are good people, its just their product has problems and I don’t know if the owners know about it.

I can’t stop being a marketer. I would suggest you not buy this until you know for certain that it works and you can get support. You’ll probably get a bunch of emails promoting this but don’t believer it….. it’s just the usual internet marketing crap. They want you to buy through their link for the affilate commission…. you know the drill. I do the same thing, but I have purchased this and it currently is not working
Remember, if you want to snag a youtube video for an affiliate product or program, and you want to create custom start and stop times for the video …..this means you can snag the most important aspect of the video, don’t make the person watching the video go through a 6 minute sales letter or 10 minute demo, say you start the video at 90 seconds and end at 150 seconds, that would be a 1 minute video….at the end of that video you want it to automatically redirect to your landing page or the affiliate page. You would think this is a simple process, but vooplayer doesn’t work now and freezes the browser….. so “you” the buyer, beware!
